Alum Rock is located 30 minutes drive north-west of Stanthorpe. By searching ‘Alum Rock Hideaway’ in Google Maps, you will be provided with the access point to the property. From here, the hideaway is set close to Pike Creek, another 10 minute drive from the pinned location. Detailed access instructions will be provided to you prior to your arrival date. Please be advised, the drive from Goldfields Road out to the hideaway is a dirt road. We therefore suggest careful consideration of your vehicle type when booking your stay. 

Though infrequent, we wish to advise access can be compromised over the Pike Creek crossing in periods of heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding, in which cases 4WD or AWD vehicles will be required for access. Bookings may be subject to last minute rescheduling if your vehicle is not suitable for the conditions at the time of your stay. In such cases, we will correspond with you in the lead up to your stay to discuss your options.
